The Process

I. Consultation
The process begins with an intake of your vision. Whether you provide a digital file, a physical reference, or a conceptual brief, our studio evaluates the technical requirements of the form. We provide a projection of the gold weight and the engineering necessary to realize the object in its purest state.

II. Digital Development
We translate your concept into a high-resolution 3D environment. This allows for the interrogation of every surface and edge. These renders serve as the final point of refinement, ensuring the geometry is perfected before the element is committed to the mold.

III. The Pour
Upon approval of the digital blueprint, the commission enters the foundry. Using precision casting techniques, we replace the temporary pattern with solid .999 gold. This is the moment of solidification—where a digital file becomes a permanent asset.

IV. Refinement & Hallmarking
Each piece is hand-finished to remove any artifacts of the casting process, preserving the sharp intent of the render. The object is then hallmarked, verifying its weight and atomic purity, before being secured for private delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Can any 3D file be cast in gold?

Most high-resolution 3D files (such as .STL or .OBJ) can be adapted for our process. We review every file to ensure the geometry is compatible with the unique flow and density requirements of 24k gold.

Can you design a piece from scratch for me?

Yes. If you have an idea but no digital file, our designers can create a custom 3D model based on your descriptions or sketches for your approval before we cast.

How is the price of a custom order determined?

Pricing is based on two factors: the current spot price of the gold weight required for the piece and a design/casting fee based on the complexity of the geometry.

How long does the custom process take?T

Typically, a project takes 3 to 6 weeks from the final approval of the 3D render to the finished cast, depending on the complexity of the design and refinement required.

Will I see the piece before it is cast?

Yes. You will receive high-fidelity 3D renders for review. We do not commit the gold to the mold until you have finalized and approved the digital blueprint.
